LARA P. EMOUNA, of counsel to the firm, graduated Magna Cum Laude and with Departmental Honors from the University of California, Los Angeles, 1991, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with concentrations in Computing and in Business and Administration. Ms. Emouna received her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California School of Law, where she participated in the Moot Court Honors Program and was invited to join the Interdisciplinary Law Journal. At USC, Ms. Emouna received the American Jurisprudence Award for Trial Advocacy/Practice. She completed an internship at the United States Small Business Administration and an externship for the Honorable Robert W. Alberts of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. After practicing both real estate and general business transactional and related litigation in California, Ms. Emouna moved to New York and continues to practice in these areas. Ms. Emouna is admitted to practice in the States of California and New York in both the state and federal courts of each state and has been with Gleich, Siegel & Farkas since July 1998.
